Love of Wind Gurl, Death of Torch Boy
Now I must tell
Of a sad sad tale
Involving a girl
Born from gale
This child of wind
We call her Wing
Never of tempest
Moods of lovely spring
But a curse she has
For air will never still
Winds of great velocity
Where ever she sets heel
Of immense disaster
She brought her town
Boats flipped over
And animals drowned
A meeting was held
And the town people agreed
To lock Wind Gurl up
In their old storage fridge
And a hole was made
Just enough to glare
Out of her compartment
And blow dry people's hair
But this is not to be
How the story seals
A unfortunate event
Has yet to be unveiled
Along came Torch Boy
Warm tender and all
Would ignite their love
This cold lonely fall
Everyday he speaks
To Wing without fail
Locked in the fridge
Young heart gone frail
Many months have past
As their love grew
They talked of yesterdays
Over hot bubbling stew
At last they admitted
Feelings for the other
And a plan they hatched
To elope from the harbour
At half-past twelve
Full moon above
Torch boy came
With hammer and glove
The lock of imprisonment
He forcefully hit
As Wind Gurl's freedom
Edged closer by bit
Through long toil at last
The chains were free
The fridge door opened
And together they could flee
But have we forgetten
Of Wind Gurl's curse?
Out of the compartment
Vicious winds burst
This deathly exposure
Torch Boy couldn't shield
His flame was extinguished
Another line he'll never yield
Her love fell dead
Before her very eyes
The winds grew stonger
The water high tide
Waves of magnitude
Swept over the soulmates
Never be seen again
To joy of the populate
A lesson of truth
To be learnt from this case
Is to never place fire
In the blow dryer's face
THE END
